On Tuesday, June 13, Rescue/Engine 607-4 took to the road for a public service detail.  After a special request was made, the Sipesville volunteers made a site visit to the Beulah United Methodist Church grove to be a part of the summer bible school program.  The underlying theme for the bible school involved fire, so bible school coordinators thought the kids would enjoy a visit from the local fire department.  Firefighters Trent, Madigan, and Forry reminded the kids about some summer fire safety tips, and then allowed the kids to check out the Engine and try out some water filled extinguishers.  The bible school group consisted of approximately 70 children ranging from pre-schoolers to high school age children.  The firefighters' presentation was well accepted, and the volunteers would like to extend their thanks for the opportunity to be a part of the bible school program.
