Sipesville Volunteer Fire Company

At 15:20 hours on Sunday, December 10, stations 605, 607, and 900 EMS were dispatched for a vehicle accident with rollover on Route 219 approximately 4 miles north of the Somerset interchange. 607 Firefighters arrived on scene to find one vehicle in the median on its roof. The location of the accident was in district 607, approximately 1/8th mile south of the township line. One male occupant was self extricated from the vehicle and denied having any injuries. 607 Deputy arrived on scene and assumed command. Medic 951 arrived and handled the patient refusal. Rescue 605-2 and Engine 607-4 arrived and controlled hazards. Fire police from 605 and 607 handled the traffic detail while PSP conducted an investigation of the incident. All units returned in service within 30 minutes.
