    On the afternoon of October 17, station 606 (Jennerstown) was dispatched for a field fire beside Harris Battery along route 985.  606 units arrived on scene and reported a large brush fire.  606 command immediately requested station 607 for equipment and manpower.  Station 607 was dispatched to respond to the scene with a tanker and brush truck.  Tanker 607-3 responded code 3 to the scene followed a few minutes later by Engine 607-1.  Sipesville units arrived at the scene and staged near the command post.  606 command requested that stations 608 and 605 also be dispatched for manpower and tankers.  Engine 607-1 was put to use extinguishing some hot spots, while tanker 3 stood by to supply water.  Crews from 606 had a good knock on the fire and all units were released within 45 minutes of the initial dispatch.
