At 05:33 hrs on September 6, Station 607 was dispatched to assist 608 with an MVA with injuries.  Rescue/Engine 607-4 (S. Kovach) responded with a crew of six on board.  608 Chief established command and avised that there was one female patient entrapped and unconscious.  Rescue/Engine 607-4 arrived on scene and the crew sprung into action with the Holmatro hydraulic rescue tools.  The patient was extricated from the vehicle and transferred to the care of EMS personnel within 9 minutes.  The patient was seriously injured and was transported by ground to the nearest trauma center.  All units cleared the scene in approximately one hour.
