At 20:42 hrs on August 28, Station 607 was dispatched on a first
alarm assist to 601 for a structure fire at the Economy Inn. Engine 607-4
(J. Shoryer) and Squad 5 (Madigan) responded to the scene where units staged
in a parking lot across from the motel. Tower 601-3 was placed into service
and investigated a small elctrical fire in a lighted sign outside the building.
After it was determined that there was no significant extension into
the building and that there was no further risk of a fire all units were release
by 601 command. All 607 units returned to service and back to station
without incident. |
