July 16, 2007
Around 06:25 hrs on July 16, station 607 and 900 EMS were dispatched for a vehicle fire on Bicycle Rd. in the area of Emert Grinding.  607 Deputy responded direct followed by Engine 607-4 (S. Kovach).  An updated location put the fire on Bicycle Rd. near the Lincoln Township line.  The vehicle appeared to have crashed a few hundred yards before the location where it was found by fire personnel and abandoned.  The vehicle was fully involved upon arrival of the engine crew.  Crews went to work extinguishing the blaze and used the Holmatro spreaders to access the engine compartment.  It was later discovered that the vehicle was stolen from a residence in Boswell Borough.  Medic 957 and PSP also assisted at the scene.  All fire and EMS units went in service in less than an hour.
