March 26, 2005
On March 26, at 640 hrs, Station 607 was dispatched for an MVA with unknown injuries on Somerset Pike at the Quemahoning Hill.  Sipesville fire units arrived on scene and found one compact car that had rolled completely over, but ended up on all four wheels.  Road conditions were icy and very hazardous in the area and one lane of traffic was shut down while crews worked at the scene.  The driver of the car sustained minor injuries and was transported to Somerset Hospital for further evaluation.  Somerset Area Ambulance Association assisted at the scene and handled patient care.  The Pennsylvania State Police investigated the incident and released all fire units from the scene once both lanes of the road were reopened.
