March 25, 2006
On March 25, at 02:37 hours, Stations 607 and 900 were dispatched for a vehicle accident on Somerset Pike in the area of the Casebeer Church.  Dispatch info also stated that there was to be one vehicle rolled over and in the woods, with unkown injurries.  607 Chief responded direct and found the accident on the Quemahoning Hill.  After performing a rapid scene survey, 607 Chief advised that there was nobody around the vehicle.  Rescue/Engine 607-4 responded to the scene to control hazards and provide lighting for a more thorough search of the area.  The vehicle, a 2 door compact car, appeared to have rolled multiple times, finally coming to rest in some trees and light brush approximately 30 feet off the roadway.  Having found no patients on scene and after controlling the electrical sytem of the car, all emergency units cleared the scene.  It was later discovered that the driver of the car was ejected during the crash and landed somewhere in the woods.  The injurred driver then made it up to the road, where a passing motorist gave her a ride away from the scene before fire and EMS units arrived.
