March 7, 2007
On Wednesday, March 3, at approximately 11:49 hrs, stations 606, 605, 607, 608, and 643 were dispatched for a residential structure fire at 103 Rocky Ridge Rd. in Jennerstown.  Engine 607-4 responded par 5, followed by Tanker 607-2.  First arriving units advised of hazardous road conditions in the area.  Engine 4 arrived on scene and staged per instructions of 606 IC.  Crews from 606 and 605 searched the residence for any fire and found some hot spots in the wall suggestive of an electrical  malfunction.  All units were released within forty minutes.  Some units became stuck at the scene due to icy road conditions causing a delay in the return to service of the fire units operating at the incident.  All 607 units returned in service without incident.
