Around 21:35 hrs Stations 608, 607 and 900 EMS were dispatched for an MVA with injuries on Acosta Rd. near the Miller Mine.  Volunteers were already in station after having the annual installation banquet for the fire company and were quick to respond.  Engine 607-4 and Squad 607-5 responded fully staffed to assist with the incident.  Units from both fire stations were unable to locate the accident on Acosta Rd and attempts were made to branch off of Acosta Rd. in search of the crash.  One BLS ambulance was also dispatched out of station 606 to assist due to the unknown jurisdictional location of the incident.  Engine 607-4 and Medic 957 located the crash on Old Miller Mine Rd., a private dirt road off of Acosta Rd.  Crews were met with extremely icy road conditions and found one vehicle over an embankment with one male patient still inside the vehicle.  The patient was not confined, but was extricated by EMS and fire personnel.  The patient was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.  All crews cleared the scene and were in service within 45 minutes.
